Vidor CN379 "Riviera" all dry battery 3 band superhet covering short wave, medium wave & long wave. First released in August 1949, Price £15 4/- 6d including batteries & purchase tax. Note the HT battery "portable 61" is a huge 90 volt battery, one of the largest single HT batteries ever made. The LT battery is hidden behind the HT battery & is an All Dry AD4 1.5 volt. Both batteries are original, but have had all the old insides removed & modern battery holders fitted so that they are working batteries that make the radio a fully operational vintage battery powered set!
