Rambler attaché case portable. (Restored and working). Dated 1959, this is a kit radio, costing £7, 7/- plus 2/6 Postage & packing. There was an offer of supplying the kit with low power consumption valves - DK96, DF96, DAF96 & DL96 instead of the US equivalents. This made the radio cost £7 15/6 plus postage & packing. This is a very sensitive receiver bringing in many stations on MW that many of the other radios just don't pick up. Powered from a 1.5 volt AD35 battery and a 90 volt B126 battery.
